Roy Communities that Care Coalition is a grassroots community-based prevention coalition established in 2017 to address the prevention needs of youth in our community. The CTC plays a vital role in promoting positive youth development. To improve the health and well-being of youth, we work to address the root causes of youth substance abuse, suicide, and other adverse outcomes by fostering collaboration, implementing evidence-based strategies, and empowering the Roy community.
Our Coalition supports families, youth, and communities by strengthening protective factors that reduce risk factors that contribute to youth substance misuse, suicide, and other problem behaviors. We aim to reduce youth substance use, by promoting healthy habits, implementing effective strategies, evidence-based programming, and providing education.
